The Awakening marks the beginning of HuntedByNight Magazine — and, in many ways, a personal return to photography.
Created from a project photographed in 2022 with model Halyna, the first issue grew out of a period in which photography had become distant to me. What began as a single shoot became the starting point for something much larger.
The title reflects that feeling of returning to the present — of rediscovering energy, awareness, and the urge to create again.
Across more than 50 pages, The Awakening brings together a carefully curated black-and-white series shaped by intimacy, stillness, and the atmosphere of the surrounding nature.
This is where HuntedByNight begins.
